Tactical Equipment Maintenance Facility – Fort Eustis,  Newport News, Virginia

This project consisted of 49,000sf of concrete paving. The concrete was 11” thick installed in two placements over a recycled concrete base. Heard Concrete installed dowels, dowel baskets and performed initial saw cutting 10’o.c. in each direction. Concrete was delivered in ready mix trucks and installed at a 2% slope using our Somero laser screed.  The average placement was over 800 yards approximately 45’ wide.
